Greg has nearly three decades of legal experience, with more than half at partnership level. Clients appreciate his blend of strong technical skills and pragmatic business outlook. He is praised for delivering advice and solutions that are not only legally sound but also commercially viable.

Greg advises large commercial clients on complex real estate development transactions. As a partner at Herbert Smith Freehills, his clients included Lendlease Group, Mirvac and Macquarie Group, providing strategic advice on projects including Darling Quarter, Darling Square, Barangaroo, Australian Technology Park and the mixed-use Martin Place Metro Station.

Greg currently advises Brickworks Limited and Walker Corporation on various joint venture real estate development projects and urban regeneration projects in New South Wales and other jurisdictions.

Greg is regularly recognised in industry publications including Chambers and Partners, Doyle’s Guide and Best Lawyers. He was named Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year 2023 for Real Property Law in Sydney, Australia”.
