With over 20 years of legal experience, Peter is passionate about assisting clients achieve success and realise their full potential. His technical excellence and honest, forthright commercial advice is sought by senior management, making him a trusted adviser to boards and executive teams across the country.
Peter worked at Herbert Smith Freehills for 14 years, and became its Regional Head of Projects for Asia Pacific, where he oversaw a number of landmark multi-million dollar deals working for clients such as the Commonwealth and NSW Government, Macquarie Group, Lendlease, John Holland and CIMIC. Peter has also been on the board of directors of Sydney FC for over 10 years and has played an integral role in the club’s growth and success.
In establishing Paradise Charnock Hing with co-director Geoff Charnock, Peter’s intention was to build a practice that went above and beyond the standards that clients already expect. Joined by Greg Hing a year later, the practice has gone from strength-to-strength to become an established and outstanding law firm.
Peter goes out of his way to deliver exceptional commercially minded outcomes based on thoughtful and considered legal strategies and has won accolades for his work from Legal 500, Doyles Guide and Chambers & Partners.
